Whiplash injuries are common. They are mostly caused as a result of a road traffic accident involving a collision. They can also also occur as a result of a fall, possibly involving a bang on the head.
Symptoms may be noticed immediately or a few days after the incident and can include pain and aching in the neck and shoulders, pins and needles in the arms and headaches.
Physiotherapy can help in the treatment of whiplash injuries however caused and techniques used vary according to the severity, extent and duration of the symptoms.
Please contact Pamela Marsh at her physiotherapy practice in Bingham to arrange an appointment.
