How much does treatment cost?
A. Pamela’s fees are comparable with other qualified therapists. Please phone for details.


Q. What are your opening hours?
A. We are open by appointment, please phone to arrange an appointment.


Q. How long does each treatment take?
A. The initial assessment and treatment takes up to 45mins. Follow-up treatment takes up to 30mins. Some people take more time than others. We will have a better idea once we have met and undertaken the initial assessment.


Q. What should I wear?
A. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring shorts where necessary.


Q.  Do you open on Saturdays?
A.  Yes but only for appointments booked in advance


Q.  What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?
A.  Cancelled appointments are charged in full unless 24 hours notice is given


Q. Is Pamela registered with private insurance companies eg. BUPA?
A. Yes she is. Please telephone for further details

Q. Does the physiotherapy treatment hurt?
A. If a treatment is likely to be uncomfortable this will be discussed prior to application


Q. Does acupuncture hurt?
A. Mild discomfort may be experienced but this would be discussed with you prior to treatment


Q. Do I have to have acupuncture?
A. No. Pamela will ensure that you are comfortable with the choice of treatment


Q. Do I have to have a course of treatment?
A. No, not necessarily


Q. Does Pamela do home / nursing home visits?
A. Yes. Please phone for further details


Q. Does an assessment include treatment?
A. Yes, to ensure you start the recovery process straight away


Q. Do you have a car park?
A. Yes, there is ample on-site parking available


Q. How soon can I have an appointment?
A. A limited number of same-day appointments are available during the week – please phone early

Q. What hours are you open?

Q. Can Pamela treat patients after surgery?
A. Yes. Pamela often works in conjunction with referring Orthopaedic Consultants


Q. I’m currently on the waiting list for NHS physio – can I come to Pamela in the meantime?
A. Yes


Q. Do I need to have a Doctor’s referral
A. No


Q. I have private medical insurance – how will I be able to claim?
A. Pamela is registered with the major private insurance companies. Please phone to clarify how to claim


Q. Can I bring somebody with me?
A. Yes, of course


Q. Are there any stairs to climb?
A. No, the treatment room is on the ground floor
